Date : October 2023 Place : Goa Goa reminds me of freedom....roaming around at night with coastal wind gushing through my hair....like nobody cares The waves hitting the land and that sea smell .... sand sticking on every inch of my skin.  Goa has a mysterious touch to it away from glamourous Casinos parked in the middle of Mandovi river... The old Goa witnesses Portuguese houses against test of time.  With colorful pottery and konkan food.... Xacuti crab and coconut water.... Goa is not just it's beaches but also it's food and culture.       

                       The Big Blue Box:        You buy furniture. You tell yourself, this is the last sofa I will ever need in my life. Buy the sofa, then for a couple years you're satisfied that no matter what goes wrong, at least you've got your sofa issue handled. Then the right set of dishes. Then the perfect bed. The drapes. The rug. Then you're trapped in your lovely nest, and the things you used to own, now they own you.       Tray to foray        Swedish meat balls      Cheesecake and coffee      Croissant       Me Nagsandra's gem, a furniture heaven. Ikea Bangalore was a new experience for me. A new way of shopping 🛒. Item names so hard to pronounce that pronouncing Fjord and Alejandro becomes easy. So many choices, people were buying things they didn't even need or knew off. But that IKEA DIY strategy works. Assembling things intrigues me. Reading manual is like reading an interesting nove

Another day of English being a mess at translation. strangely both have same translation but different meanings.  English is a funny language for non native speakers. I make so many mistakes and then it stays in my head out of embarrassment. Here's few of recent one's. •Google layed over  layed off many employees •I know all about anti defection not  anti defecation  • kayotes Coyotes ( kayote isn't even a word) •Some funny words in dialects जननी - जनानी Vampire - बमपारू Psycho - पिश्चु What if women led protests in Iran can put an end to muslim population bomb. Are muslim women David in disguise? •Ginseng strip 2002 :  Sample • A sweatshirt is called Sweatshirt because It's a sweater and shirt combined? •If you piss in your pants, you only stay warm for so long.  I have been mourning 2022 before welcoming 2023. As if another year of my life has been deducted. Which is a fact . It's inevitable. From past few years there's always been a sense of loss on 31st December. It was there yesterday too. Of time passing by so fast but life's not moving.    But now first day feels same as yesterday. Maybe 2022 never left, or 2023 is 2022 which was once 2021 (yes 2020 was different) but 2019 was just the same.  As we mourn around here today at all the years that passed by , I know it feels like saying goodbye. But we will carry a piece of each year into everything that we do next. To remind us of Who We Are. I have accepted I'll age and leave behind a piece of me but I'll also take a piece of myself into the future me.                                                                                           Today I feel brave and happy . So I'll think a little less and live a little more. Happy New Year.
